Garment machinist wanted in Irion County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Irion County, Texas. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
