Site safety steward • Chariton County, Missouri

Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Chariton County, Missouri. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
