Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
