Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Winnebago County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time, day shift.
