Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. The role involves push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; refuel the machine and record running hours; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
