Machinist — Erie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Erie County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
