Aluminium TIG welder — Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Franklin County, Illinois. You will work on a structural steel site. You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
