Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plastering hand in Vinton County, Ohio. The job is at a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Rotating shifts.
