Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Part-time with flexible hours.
