Press shop operator wanted in Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Montgomery County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours.
