Site safety steward wanted in Bremer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Bremer County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
