Tig welder • Dukes County, Massachusetts

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Dukes County, Massachusetts. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
