We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Brazoria County, Texas. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
