The role involves drive defensively through heavy traffic and bad weather; make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off; report mechanical faults and dents to the depot office; check engine oil, coolant and washer fluid levels before each shift; follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable; maintain an accurate headcount against the passenger manifest.
