Join our team: we are hiring a lift technician in Sierra County, New Mexico. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Rotating shifts. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
