Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Stanton County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On a typical shift you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
