Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Hamilton County, New York. The role involves machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Overtime paid at a premium rate.
