Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area 5+ years on the tools preferred.
