Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Pike County, Mississippi. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
