Brick mason wanted in Kings County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Kings County, New York. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
