On a typical shift you will maintain an accurate headcount against the passenger manifest; check the first-aid kit and fire extinguisher on board; drive defensively through heavy traffic and bad weather; keep a daily trip log and record mileage and fuel used; refuel the vehicle and keep the fuel receipts; follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable.
