Now hiring: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Floyd County, Iowa. You will be based at a cake shop. Your main tasks: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Full-time, day shift.
