Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Maricopa County, Arizona. You will work at a food processing plant. You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Day-to-day duties: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Service split AC units and VRF systems Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
