Steel fixer wanted in Clackmannanshire

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Rotating shifts.
