Tiling assistant wanted in Tuscola County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Tuscola County, Michigan. You will be based on a residential construction site. Day to day you will run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
