We are recruiting: we are hiring a body shop technician in Haskell County, Kansas. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. Day-to-day duties: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer You should have: • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
