Window glazier — City of Galax

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a window glazier in City of Galax, Virginia. You will work on a construction site. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes On the job you will handle: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
