Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in San Diego County, California. You will work on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Six days a week, one day off.
