Stainless steel welder — Borough of Torbay

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Borough of Torbay, England. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
