Plant operator (dozer) • Greene County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Greene County, Illinois. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Your main tasks: • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
