Vacancy available: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in Madison County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Height and weight as per security norms Rotating shifts.
