Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Russell County, Kansas. The job is on commercial flat-roof projects. You will set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
