Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
