Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Cumberland County, Virginia. The job is in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
