Gang bricklayer • Panola County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Panola County, Texas. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
