Garment machinist wanted in Pierce County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Pierce County, Washington. You will work on an export house sewing floor. The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
