Gas service engineer wanted in Fayette County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Fayette County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. The role involves: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time, day shift.
