Great opportunity: formwork carpenter (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The job is on a residential tower site. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Full-time, day shift.
