Your main tasks: • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Recharge and service the air-conditioning system • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool Requirements: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding Six days a week, one day off.
