Join our team: gas meter installer (Pennsylvania)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Elk County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration You will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
