Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in West Berkshire

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in West Berkshire, England. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Six days a week, one day off. Pay around £2,350 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
