Lift mechanic wanted in Adair County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Adair County, Iowa. The job is on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
