Join our team: we are hiring a formwork erector in Polk County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Rotating shifts.
