Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Piscataquis County, Maine. The role involves building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
