Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Wayne County, Tennessee. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Overtime paid at a premium rate.
