Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Conecuh County, Alabama. The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
