Powder coating line operator • Newport County, Rhode Island

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth The role involves keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks.
