Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Sumner County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
