Machinist wanted in Kenton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Kenton County, Kentucky. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
