Safety officer — Clinton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Clinton County, Indiana. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
